We enjoyed an incredible 1 night stay. We loved it so much, we wish we could have stayed longer! Tons of amenities (fire pit, hot tub, bbq, hammock) in the private outdoor space. Fantastic view. Christina was a great host and the container home was well-stocked with towels, toiletries, blankets, coffee, etc. There is a small kitchenette with sink, fridge, hot plate. Nice hot shower and very comfortable bed. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful experience! Christina is a lovely host. The place is beautifully decorated and designed. The breakfast was a lovely treat as well!! The view and the ambiance is just perfect for a gateway.

We loved our stay here! It’s cozy but clean and comfortable. The host kindly provided chocolates, wine and quality toiletries. We loved the view from the Airbnb, including watching a family of five deer!
You might hear a talkative rooster in the morning, but it adds to the charm. East Sooke is a beautiful area. Definitely recommend!

Christina’s place is one of those rare Airbnb stays that exceeds every expectation. The setting is incredibly peaceful, private, and relaxing—it was exactly what we needed.
Everything has been thoughtfully put together, and the little touches throughout the property really made it feel special. You can immediately tell how much pride Christina takes in hosting. She was warm, responsive, and struck the perfect balance between being available if needed while allowing complete privacy.
We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we can come back. If you’re looking for a quiet escape surrounded by nature, you won’t find many places better than this.

Christina was the real deal! I came here to rest. The bed alone was divine! Waking up to sun streaming thru the trees… morning fires, wrapped in a blanket, strong cups of coffee. It was exactly what I needed!
Her hospitality went way above and beyond what I expected! Would stay again! And again, and again, and again.

The suite was great, as described online. One thing I might note is that the water was brown and tasted a bit odd – not the host’s fault, I assume it was system-wide. We bought a couple litres of bottled water and we were fine. The suite itself was clean, with all the amenities, and private. The outdoor patio is cozy and has an amazing view over the water; the bedroom shares the same view. There are no bedroom curtains, though, so if morning light bothers you, bring a sleep mask. But that side of the house is 100% private so the lack of curtains didn’t bother us. We didn’t meet Christina, but she contacted us via the app a few times during our two-day stay so we knew she was keeping an eye on us and we could have met up with her if we’d needed to. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Christina!

A little gem of a getaway. It was the perfect place to have a quiet few days to myself. Up in the treetops with eagles and hawks flying around but enough amenities to be completely comfortable and relaxed. Christina put a few personal touches that elevated the experience such a bottle of rose, chocolates and toiletries that I may have forgotten. Would absolutely stay here again.

Christina has created a beautiful little forest get away…. All the comforts while feeling like a real escape. Her warmth and welcoming energy made it easy to feel at home, both looked after as well as privacy afforded. The area has fantastic hikes and nature experiences but my favourite was the peaceful escape and long hours of sleep at Christian’s air b and b.

Christina has a beautiful home, it is relaxing and serene. However, that is not even the best part. She is great at communicating and is able to work through changing plans and needs proactively. Would highly recommend this place and staying at anything hosted by her.

The place was so cozy, and comfortable, and looks even better in person than in the photos. Christina was a wonderful host, always available to answer any questions and quick to respond. We loved staying here! The view! We snorkeled at iron mine bay, just minutes away. Christina was an amazing hostess, so helpful and responsive. Her attention to details really showed-fresh flowers, chilled beverages, chocolate and fresh creamer for our tea. She was so welcoming! We can’t wait to come back!

Tucked away in east sooke, this area is beautifully laid out and an amazing view of the water. We only stayed a night passing through, so unsure of its ease to get to central sooke area. But for a spontaneous stay this was just the ticket!

Protect hosts like Christina at all costs! Easily one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had. The converted shipping container was cozy and very thoughtfully stocked.
During our short stay there, Christina surprised and delighted us on several occasions. She clearly cares deeply about offering an exceptional experience to her guests, while also deftly honouring their privacy.
We will definitely look to book with Christina again the next time we get to visit Sooke.

A really neat place to stay. The host put a lot of work into each and every detail which made the stay feel so cozy and comfortable. Booked this stay for me & my dad as he’s visiting from the prairies. I wanted him to have a real van island experience and this stay was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay and absolutely give this place 5 stars. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and any questions we had were answered quickly.
The space itself was cozy, thoughtfully arranged, and very well stocked—everything you need to cook and settle in was provided, along with thoughtful extras. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating a comfortable and inviting environment. We stayed longer than expected because it’s such a gem.
The surrounding area is beautiful as well, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We’re so grateful for the host’s hospitality and can’t wait to come back.

Christina’s container suite was very cute and private! The surroundings were quiet and peaceful.
From the pictures in the listing I was expecting a container home on its own in the wilderness but it’s situated up on a property overlooking a culdesac in a neighbourhood which was fine. It was a great spot for me and my friend to have an amazing outdoor fire and visit! loved hearing the owls at night and seeing eagles fly by😍

Lovely place to stay! The whole design is just incredible and very cozy. We have a lovely time in Christina’s place. She was very mindful with a morning breakfast. The view and the atmosphere were just perfect. The bed was very comfortable.
